Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun → Drive to Haridwar (30 km)

Begin your journey by reaching Dehradun or Haridwar from Jodhpur. Upon arrival, you can book in a hotel. In the afternoon, also visit Har Ki Pauri, the Ganga ghats, and the surrounding temples. During the evening, observe the vibrant Ganga Aarti, an unforgettable religious ceremony. Stay overnight in Haridwar.

Day 2

Day 2: Haridwar to Rishikesh (25 km).

Drive to Rishikesh, which is the yoga capital of India, after breakfast. See Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula and the Beatles Ashram. In case you are an adventure seeker, you may raft and cliff jump at Shivpuri. Dine out in cafes along riversides and make purchases in local markets in the evening. Stay overnight in Rishikesh.

Day 3

Day 3: Rishikesh Local Exploration.

Visit Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, take a yoga lesson, or have a nature walk by the river. The day is not busy and there is no extensive travelling. Triveni Ghat is the place to experience the soulful Ganga Aarti in the evening. Stay overnight in Rishikesh.

Day 4

Day 4: Rishikesh to Mussoorie (35 km).

Visit the Queen of Hills, drive to Mussoorie, and stay in a hotel. Excursions to Gun Hill, Mussoorie Lake, Kempty Falls, and Company Garden. Then, proceed to Mall Road and taste some local snacks and watch the valley. Stay overnight in Mussoorie.

Day 5

Day 5: Mussoorie to Dhanaulti (30 km).

Have breakfast and then go to Dhanaulti, a small hill town. See Eco Park, Surkanda Devi Temple and nature trails. Dhanaulti is a peaceful place, suitable for peace-loving couples or families. Stay overnight in Dhanaulti.

Day 6

Day 6: Dhanaulti to Kanatal (15 km)

It is a short drive to Kanatal, which has excellent views of the valleys. You may go trekking, ziplining, or walking in the forest. Natural beauty will be cherished by the photographers. Stay overnight in Kanatal.

Day 7

Day 7: Kanatal → Chamba (20 km) → Rishikesh (60 km)

Go on to leave Kanatal for Chamba, a pleasant hill station overlooking the Bhagirathi valley. Visit local cafes, markets and perspectives. Thereafter, move to Rishikesh and spend the night. This is your final night at Uttarakhand.

Day 8

Day 8: Return to Jodhpur

Take off and go back to Jodhpur. You can either fly (through Dehradun) or take a train (through Haridwar) or drive. You leave behind you beautiful mountain memories.
