Dahlousie is a dream hill station nestled in the misty hills of Himachal Pradesh which is relaxing, colonial, and natural. Dalhousie is an entry point to the untouched beauty of the Dhauladhar Range and is visited by people who prefer to enjoy their stay in calm and scenic mountain sites. The tour packages are carefully designed to provide the best mix of relaxation and adventure. Dahlousie will suit all kinds of moods, whether the traveler is a honeymoon couple, a family seeking an adventure beyond the plains or an adventure lover who is fascinated by scenic walks.
Dalhousie is reminiscent of the past, whether it is rolling meadows of Khajjiar, dubbed as the Mini Switzerland of India, pine-smelling valleys and colonial-era architecture. The majority of the packages contain guided sightseeing, cozy accommodation, local food experience, and sightseeing to the local attractions including Chamba, Khajjiar, and Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary.
Dalhousie is a couple dream destination. Honeymoon packages include a comfortable stay in heritage cottages or hillside resorts, candle light dinners with panoramic views, and walks down the lanes of Subhash Chowk which are quiet. The two are the Khajjiar Lake with its romantic atmosphere and the tranquility of Dainkund Peak which makes the packages perfect when you have just got married.
The family enjoys Dalhousie with its relaxed environment and nature-friendly sites. Some of the visits covered in family packages are Panchpula Waterfall, boating in Chamera Lake, and easy hiking in the Kalatop Sanctuary. Other characteristics of these tours are kid-friendly accommodation, tours, and local markets where one can shop souvenirs.
The luxury packages in Dalhousie are available to the travellers who want to indulge in a luxury experience by staying in a heritage hotel like Grand View or Aamod Resorts, having a personal transfer, and exploring the area in a tour designed just to them. Imagine spa treatments with mountainous sceneries, tours by car with a chauffeur, and customized travelling experiences that transform the meaning of comfort.
The adventure seekers may choose some packages which include trekking, paragliding, camping or mountain biking. Khajjiar and Dainkund provide great trails and activities to the enthusiasts of thrills. These tours incorporate both scenic and outdoor thrill.
Group and student packages are budget-friendly and full of activities and include sightseeing, camping, bonfire nights, and cultural events. They are ideal when one wants to go on a college trip or when friends want to explore Himachal together.
Khajjiar is regarded to be the Mini Switzerland of India due to its rolling meadowlands, dense deodar forests, and a lake that makes it a must-visit. Perfect in photography, zorbing and paragliding.
Dahlousie top gives a panoramic view of the valley and the snow-capped Himalayas. Dainkund trek is a moderate trek that is famous because of the tranquil environment.
It is the home to a number of flora and fauna, such as the Himalayan black bears and pheasants. It is also an excellent hiking and picnicking place.
An artificial dam with pine trees and boating and lovely scenery.

The hill station of Dalhousie is a small place that can be covered within 2 to 4 days comfortably. The sightseeing in Mall Road and Subhash Chowk is the starting point of most of the tour packages, after which Khajjiar, Chamba, and Kalatop are visited. Dalhousie is best explored on foot- small lanes, old buildings and picturesque points of view present the postcard view at every turn.
A comfortable pair of shoes should be used when visiting since most of the places of interest involve walking uphill. Sample the local Himachali cuisine including Madra (chick pea curry), Sidu (stuffed bread) and hot chai served at road-side food stands. Shopping in the evenings is ideal, as it is in the evening markets, to get woollens, Tibetan handicrafts, and wooden souvenirs.
Photographers will not be disappointed with sunrise photos in the Dainkund or the foggy valleys in Khajjiar. To spiritual tourists, Dalhousie has old temples and secluded monasteries where they can meditate.
It is the season that is most popular. The climate is cool and pleasant (1525 o C) and ideal to sightseeing, boating, and trekking.
Dalhousie becomes greener and foggy, a perfect place to go on a romantic vacation and take picturesque drives. Nevertheless, road travel is sometimes subject to landslides.
This is the most ideal time to experience snowfall. The cold goes down to below zero and the snow-covered mountains make Dalhousie appear a winter wonderland. Ideal honeymooner and snow lovers.
