Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Gangtok
The Sikkim Darjeeling tour starts as you arrive at Bagdogra Airport/New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Tenzing Norgay bus stand. After reaching there, you will meet our tour guide who helps you to be transferred to Gangtok via cab. After reaching Gangtok complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. Enjoy your leisure time by relaxing for some time and having a comfy stay overnight.
Day 2: Gangtok sightseeing tour
On the 2nd day of the Gangtok Darjeeling tour, you will get a chance to sightsee the fascinating locations in Gangtok. Wake up early in the morning and after having your morning meal you will venture on the exploration of the city. Gangtok is known for its monasteries, ample scenic beauty, pleasant environment. On this day, you will enjoy the mesmerizing views of the landscape. You can visit popular tourist attractions like Enchey Monastery, Flower Show, Do Drul Chorten (stupa), White Hall. Enjoy the day with such activities. By evening after the excursion return to your accommodation have dinner and take a restful sleep.
Day 3: Full day expedition to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
After having breakfast head towards the day trip to the most favored Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake is also known as the Changu Lake is a glacial lake, this place is a haunt of Brahminy Duck and other migratory birds. Here you can also go for yak rides to explore the breathtaking scenery. You can also visit the Lord Shiva temple on the bank of the lake. Other than this you can visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial War Temple and Nathula Pass. If you have enough time then you can also visit Mall Road in the evening. After that return to your hotel and stay overnight in Gangtok.
Day 4: Gangtok-Lachung Transfer
On the fourth day of the Sikkim Darjeeling tour Package, after having your morning breakfast you will move towards the north Sikkim region. Complete the Check-out formalities from Gangtok and begin driving for Lachung. It is located at an altitude of 9600 feet above sea level. Lachung is a beautiful village among the dense peaks. It consists of cascading waterfalls, snow-covered mountains, dazzling streams, and a pleasant climate that forms an enchanting and alluring view for travellers. On the route, you will stop at a few stunning sites like Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Lungstok, Naga Waterfalls, Chungthang, Twin Waterfalls, Bhim Nala Waterfalls. Evening arrival at Lachung, complete the check-in formalities at a hotel, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 5: Sightseeing at Yumthang and transfer to Gangtok
On the fifth day of this tour, after having breakfast get ready for the day trip to explore the ravishing Yumthang valley, located at an altitude of 11,800 feet above sea level. En-route you will come across a hot spring and the valley of flowers. Enjoy the amazing weather and treat your eyes to the captivating views. In the afternoon back to Gangtok, it will take 6 hours to reach back. Check-in at your hotel and take a rest. Have your night meal and stay at the hotel overnight in Gangtok.
Day 6: Gangtok transfer to Darjeeling
On the sixth day of the Sikkim Darjeeling tour, after having breakfast you will start your journey from Gangtok to Darjeeling. The city offers a captivating view of dense tea gardens and the mighty Himalayas. It houses the UNESCO World Heritage Site ‘Darjeeling Himalayan Railway’ renowned for toy trains. After arrival in Darjeeling complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. Relax for some time, the whole evening is leisure. You can enjoy the visit to Mall Road and indulge in shopping. Return to the hotel in the evening, have your dinner and enjoy an overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 7: Darjeeling sightseeing tour
On the seventh day of this tour wake up early in the morning and step out to explore the astonishing view of Darjeeling, a short trip to Tiger hill will treat your eyes to the beautiful sunrise view. Return to hotel fresh-n-up and have your morning meal after that get ready to visit the Tea estates, War Memorial, Ghoom Monasteries, Himalayan Zoological Park, Ropeway, and Batasia Loop. After a long exploration day, get back to your hotel and relax. Stay overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 8: Bid adieu to Darjeeling and Sikkim
This is the last day of this Darjeeling and Sikkim tour package. Pack up your bags and complete the check-out formalities from the hotel. After that, you’ll be transferred to the Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station after that you can continue the onward journey back home.
