By Train: The main station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), which is linked with all major cities. NJP has a taxi or a scenic ride on the toy train.

By Road: Darjeeling is also linked with Siliguri, Kalimpong and Gangtok. There are state transport, private buses and taxis.

By Toy Train: The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, either between NJP or Kurseong, is a lovely journey to take, as one enjoys the mountain views.
