Day-by-Day
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Cochin to Vagamon
As your flight lands at Cochin International Airport, you will be meeting our tour representative who will escort you to Vagamon. The distance between Kochi and Vagamon is approximately 101 kilometers. Vagamon was discovered by the Britsh who found the place ideal for tea plantations and they were followed by Christian missionaries who built their abode of service at Kurisumala in Vagamon. Upon your arrival at Vagamon, you can check in at a selected hotel followed by an overnight stay.
Day 2: Vagamon sightseeing
Post breakfast at the hotel, you can continue to get around in Vagamon – a sleepy town with its scenic valleys, mists, enchanting pin forests, green meadows, tea estates, and waterfalls with the overall greenery striking out. Vagamon is home to a large variety of flowers and orchids. The landscape is mostly hilly and bald with green meadows. Post this, return to the hotel for a comfortable night’s stay.
Day 3: Alleppey Transfer
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to Alleppey for an exciting day ahead. Enjoy the magic of backwater by going on a houseboat (Kettuvallam) cruise through the backwaters. Spend the next 22 hours in your floating house. Discover the backwaters of Kerala by getting a glimpse of the village life at close quarters and get an unforgettable experience of life. Enjoy the sunset views of the surroundings and stay overnight on board.
Day 4: Kumarakom Transfer
On the 4th day after breakfast enjoy a drive to Kumarakom. As you reach there, check into the resort at the banks of the Vembanad Lake where you will be left amazed. You can expect the simple enjoyment of life. Take a rest for the remaining day and stay overnight at the resort.
Day 5: Departure from Cochin
After breakfast at the hotel, pack your bags and drive back to Kochi Airport. On arrival, you will proceed with your onward journey. The tour and services conclude here.
