Detailed Itinerary
Start the iconic Heritage Tour of India with a grand welcome carried out in accordance with Indian customs. Guests are then escorted to Chatrapati Shivaji Railway Station, Mumbai to board the Maharaja’s express and begin the tour happily. The trail will chug out to Ajanta where our guests will have a glimpse on the rich Indian history. Spend the overnight in lavishing cabins and suites of the train.
Begin the second day of this tour with an onboard breakfast on the heritage tours Ajanta Caves. Proceed for an excursion to Ajanta caves dating back to 2nd BC or 480 or 650 AD. These were initially discovered under imperial rule and will give a perfect beginning to the luxurious heritage tour. The last day of this journey will take you to Delhi. Before that, proceed to visit the love epitome of India, the Taj Mahal which was created by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.
