Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Shimla
Morning:
Shimla, which is the pretty capital of Himachal Pradesh. Check in to your hotel, freshen up and get ready for an experience of a lifetime.
Afternoon:
Visit Shimla's major attractions like Christ Church, Jakhoo Temple and the Ridge. Leisurely walk along Mall Road, shop for local handicrafts and souvenirs.
Evening:
Scandal Point is a lovely, quiet place to sit with tranquil surroundings. Savor local Himachali cuisine at one of the local restaurants.
Day 2: Shimla to Sangla
Morning:
After breakfast, take an awe-inspiring drive to Sangla, one of the most picturesque valleys in Himachal Pradesh. Enjoy the eyecatching seeniries on the way
Afternoon:
Reach Sangla and take up your hotel or camp. Take some rest, and then visit Kamru Fort, an ancient monument with a rich historical background and breathtaking surroundings.
Evening:
Relax near Baspa River and relax in the tranquility of the Sangla valley. Enjoy a Kinnauri dinner followed by an overnight stay at Sangla.
Day 3: Drive from Sangla to Rakcham
Morning:
In the morning drive to Rakcham-a beautiful village in the Baspa Valley. Lush meadows make it a very picturesque village with breathtaking beauty. Take a short trek to appreciate the elegance of its flawless charm.
Afternoon:
Continue on to Batseri Village. The village is another Kinnaur gem. Wander down the narrow lanes of the village, appreciate the traditional wooden houses, and visit the Batseri Temple dedicated to Lord Badri Narayan.
Evening:
Come back to Sangla and enjoy dinner and a cozy overnight stay.
Day 4: Sangla to Kalpa
Morning:
Travel to Kalpa, a picturesque village with a sweeping view of the Kinnaur Kailash range. While traveling, stop by Kinnaur's district headquarters in Reckong Peo and take a look around the marketplace.
Afternoon:
Reach Kalpa. Check into your hotel. Visit Chandika Devi Temple and stroll through the deodar forests surrounding the village, which are very serene.
Evening:
Spend a serene evening viewing the golden glow of the setting sun on the Kinnaur Kailash peak. Enjoy Himachali dinner and overnight stay in Kalpa.
Day 5: Kalpa to Pooh and Kanam Village
Morning:
After breakfast, drive to Pooh, a picturesque village famous for its apricot orchards and scenic landscape. Visit the local monastery and soak in the serenity of the place.
Afternoon:
Proceed to Kanam Village - famous for traditional architecture and much cultural heritage. Visit Kanam Monastery, much revered among locals.
Overnight at Kalpa - with Dinner
Day 6: Return Journey: Kalpa-Shimla
Morning :
Drive to Shimla in the morning, after a hearty breakfast. Witness fabulous views of green valleys and hill ranges all around.
Evening :
Arrive in Shimla and take in those attractions you had missed out on the first visit. Spend some last time on last minute shopping or simply quiet at the Ridge.
Afternoon:
