You start your journey from New Delhi, taking an overnight train or a direct flight to Jaisalmer. Relax and take in the experience of city chaos to desert peace as you're entering a universe of forts and sand dunes.

On reaching Jaisalmer, meet and assist by our representative and transfer to the hotel. After rest and check-in, start with the excursion to Gadisar Lake, which is surrounded by temples and well-laid-out cenotaphs. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride, followed by some shopping at the local bazaar. In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Have breakfast in the morning and go for an outing of the beautiful Jaisalmer Fort, or Sonar Quilla. Move around the fine architecture of the narrow streets of the fort, tastefully ornamented Jain Temples, and imposing Raj Mahal. Then see the awe-inspiring craftsmanship of Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli, and Nathmal ki Haveli. Relax in the evening or shop for local wear, camel leather goods, and local paintings. Breakfast check-out and proceed to the world-famous Sam Sand Dunes, 45 km from Jaisalmer. Arrive at the site, and check-in to your desert camp, which has been so specially set up with all modern amenities but traditional look. Rest of the day at leisure in the desert environment. Camel safari on sand dunes and memories of sunset over the desert in the evening. Cultural night with folk music, Kalbelia dance, and traditional dinner around the campfire. Awaken to the gentle desert wind and leave early in the morning on a jeep safari for a roller-coaster ride across the sand dunes. After breakfast, spend your time in leisure—joking and laughing in the hammocks, take a leisurely walk into the village, or try out adventure sports like dune bashing or quad biking (optional). There's another cultural program in the evening, under the starry night sky. Overnight at your desert camp.

Morning after breakfast, travel to Khuri, a lesser-visited desert village with less commotion and peace. On arrival, unwind in an eco-resort or mud-camp style. A short camel ride into virgin dunes and a tranquil sunset tour without other tourists. Dinner and calming folk music in a remote location followed by it. Overnight camping at Khuri to enjoy the thrill of nature camping.

Breakfast and check-out, visit haunted village Kuldhara, famous for haunted stories and rural surroundings. Explore ancient ruins, hike on deserted roads, and snap some funky pictures. Evening, return back to Jaisalmer city. Check-in your hotel and relax leisure. Overnight at Jaisalmer.

Today, do whatever you want to in Jaisalmer. Take a guided walking tour in the old city heritage zone, take a trip to nearby art galleries, and greet local craftsmen. Or, if not, return to one of your favorite spots or take a roof-top dinner at sunset with golden city views. Overnight at Jaisalmer.

Or if so desired, return to Sam Sand Dunes or Khuri once more for another night of last desert camping. Another night under the stars is appealing to some travelers, perhaps even even photography, or peaceful contemplation, or another attempt at folk entertainment. Or just hang around in Jaisalmer and relax in town with the final night of the tour.
