Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: New Delhi – Jaisalmer (Overnight Train/Flight)
You start your journey from New Delhi, taking an overnight train or a direct flight to Jaisalmer. Relax and take in the experience of city chaos to desert peace as you're entering a universe of forts and sand dunes.
Day 2: Arrival in Jaisalmer – Sightseeing Begins
On reaching Jaisalmer, meet and assist by our representative and transfer to the hotel. After rest and check-in, start with the excursion to Gadisar Lake, which is surrounded by temples and well-laid-out cenotaphs. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride, followed by some shopping at the local bazaar. In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Jaisalmer Fort and Havelis Visit
Have breakfast in the morning and go for an outing of the beautiful Jaisalmer Fort, or Sonar Quilla. Move around the fine architecture of the narrow streets of the fort, tastefully ornamented Jain Temples, and imposing Raj Mahal. Then see the awe-inspiring craftsmanship of Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli, and Nathmal ki Haveli. Relax in the evening or shop for local wear, camel leather goods, and local paintings. Day 4: Jaisalmer – Sam Sand Dunes (Begin Camping Experience)

Day 7: Khuri – Kuldhara – Jaisalmer City

Day 8: Heritage Walk and Free Time

How is camping at Sam and Khuri different?
We cannot camp in deserts here because Sam is too commercialized compared to Khuri. It is overpopulation, luxurious camps, and evening parties. Khuri is tranquil and out of the ordinary for simple campsites and quiet nights.
Are the desert camps simple in facilities?
Yes, there are attached toilets, cozy beds, electricity, and hot water in all Sam and Khuri camps. Luxury ones have air coolers, heaters, and cultural lounges.
Can desert camping be done?
Activities such as camel and jeep safari, folk music and dance, bonfire lunch/dinner, quad biking, dune bashing, and star gazing are typical.
Is it safe for family and children?
Yes. The camps have very high standards of hygiene and safety. Family arrangement is also made, and special child entertainment is always organized too.
Cancellation, Confirmation & Refund Policies
- 25% of the total booking amount is required in advance to confirm the reservation.
- The remaining 75% must be paid upon arrival or as mutually agreed.
- We accept UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, and Cash.
- The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking
- In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
- Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking before confirmation and a full refund will be processed.
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days via the original mode of payment.
- Partial refunds may apply based on vehicle usage, time, or last-minute cancellations.
- 45 days before travel no cancellation will be charged.
- 30–45 days before travel: 20% cancellation charge or you can use in future booking similar or morethen current value amount
- 7–30 days before travel: 40% cancellation charge.
- 0–7 days before travel or no-show: 100% of the booking amount will be charged.
- In case of force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions), alternate arrangements will be offered. No cash refund in such cases.
