World sacred spirit festival
Under the aegis of Mehrangarh Museum Trust, the five-day World Sacred Spirit Festival will start from Friday. However, Anatolia’s band Tele Turner started the festival by giving their performance with non-dance at Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park. There will be several programs in 4 places in Mehrangarh for the next three days. This time, more than 100 artists from 10 countries will present a spectacular confluence of Sufi notes and dances on stage through various presentations at the festival.
Group of 40 artists from India and abroad will give a special presentation on Meera Bai’s devotional music.

Festival director Alan told that through this festival which has been going on for almost 12 years, not only the richness of Rajasthani music has reached the world but also has made the untouched music of many countries feel. In this, more than 100 artists from 9 countries including India, Iran, France, Argentina, Algeria and Spain will perform to present the traditions and heritage of different times.

These include MANGANIYAR CHILDREN, Farook Ahmed Ganie, Rakesh Chaurasia, Areej Sufi Ensemble, Kanishk Seth, Duo Bud, Ustad Bahauddin Dagar With Vocal-Pelva Naik, Walid Ben Salim, Kavita Seth, Sufi Rang, JEEYEIN JAISAN GROUP and many more personalities.
Details about the programmes:
- 13 Feb 2021 – The show will be performing at Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park
- 14 Feb 2021 – The show will starts from 7:00 AM in the morning till 09:00 PM in between these will be performing in small sessions.
- 15 Feb 2021 – The session will end at 11:30 PM and their many shows with the Sounds of Praise from the Himalayan Mountains to the Thar Desert, from Milarepa to Meera Baï.

- 16 Feb 2021 – In the morning 7:00 AM Mahesha Ram – Bhakti Songs of the Meghwal community –Rajasthan.
