Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Udaipur – Welcome to the Lake City
By air or by train from Varkala (via Trivandrum) to Udaipur. Our Cab driver will pick you up from the airport or railway station upon your arrival. Rest and relax at the hotel. In the afternoon, proceed towards the Fateh Sagar Lake, it is a serene spot surrounded by hills. Then visit Moti Magri, where boldly stands a statue of Maharana Pratap. Evening: Walk along Ambrai Ghat and watch the sunset. Dinner at a rooftop restaurant with a view of Lake Pichola.
Day 2: Udaipur City Tour – Feel the Royalty and Culture
Breakfast to begin the day. Begin by visiting the magnificent City Palace. The enormous palace has huge rooms, courtyards, and a museum that reflects the royal heritage of Mewar. Then, walk to Jagdish Temple, famous for its exquisite carvings. Visit Hathipole Market in the afternoon, a congested place to shop for clothes, paintings, and handicrafts. Then go for a boat ride on Lake Pichola. Look at Lake Palace and Jag Mandir from the boat. Sunset view is magical.
Day 3: Day Tour of Kumbhalgarh – Fort and Hills
After breakfast, start driving towards the Kumbhalgarh Fort, located 85 km from Udaipur. The fort has a very long wall, the second longest in the world after China's Great Wall. In the evening, return to Udaipur and shop for souvenirs. Walk through the temples and palaces inside the fort. The Aravalli hills are quite beautiful from the top. Lunch at a road dhaba. Back to Udaipur in the evening. Let it out at your hotel or take a quiet evening walk around Fateh Sagar Lake.
Day 4: Sunset, Gardens, and Art
Start the day with a trip to Shilpgram, a cultural village that depicts the traditional Rajasthani lifestyle. You will have the opportunity to witness folk dances, puppet shows, and handicrafts. It is an absolute treat for culture enthusiasts. Next, visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, the ladies' garden of the royal family. It features fountains, trees, and marble buildings. Later, proceed to Doodh Talai and ride the ropeway to Karni Mata Temple. Watch the city sunset on the hilltop. It is a serene day's end.
Day 5: Last Day at Udaipur – Departure
Relax during the morning and breakfast. If time is available, then go to the Vintage Car Museum to see the old royal vehicles. You can also shop for souvenirs or take a goodbye walk along the lake. After check-out, our driver will arrive and pick you up from your hotel to drop you at the airport or railway station.
