History of Patwon Ki Haveli
Patwon Ki Haveli dates back to 1805 when it was commissioned by the richest merchant of Jaisalmer. He was named Guman Chand Patwa. Ironically, he constructed the very first haveli, but later it became one for five different but separately connected mansions of five sons. They were designed over fifty years, constructed separately.
