Tour Plan Details:
Day 1: Cochin arrival and Munnar transfer
As you reach Cochin Airport, meet our tour representative, and get assisted transfer by a drive to Munnar. Enjoy a smooth drive for about 4 hours and cover the distance of 126 kilometers. On the way, see beautiful waterfalls like Cheyyara, Valara, and Attakadu along with spice plantations. Take a stop by Kodanadu Elephant Care Centre. On arrival in Munnar, check into the hotel for a relaxing night’s stay.
Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing
After a wholesome breakfast and a full-day sightseeing tour package of Munnar. Discover the panoramic views of Anamudi – the highest South India at 2595m is visible from Munnar. Then visit Christ Church and proceed for watching wildlife at Eravikulam National Park. The park remains closed from 1st January to 28th February every year, continuing to Rajamalai hills lying adjacent to the park and taking a stop at Madupetty Dam. Later, in the evening get transferred to the hotel followed by an overnight stay.
Day 3: Thekkady Transfer
Post breakfast, enjoy a drive to Thekkady or Periyar. On reaching there, check in to the hotel and unwind. After taking some rest, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Periyar National Park and Mullaperiyar Dam. We shall also visit spice plantations where you will be allowed to shop for some exotic spices as well. In the evening, enjoy a boat cruise and watch Kerala’s martial art as well as its folk-dance Kathakali. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a safari, bamboo rafting, jeep safari, nature walk, jungle patrol, and trekking. Stay overnight in Thekkady.
Day 4: Alleppey Transfer
Unveil the magic of backwaters by going on a houseboat cruise through the scenic backwaters of Kerala. Spend the next 22 hours in your floating villa while getting a glimpse of the village life at close quarters, a unique and unforgettable travel experience. Watch the breathtaking sunset views over the backwaters and stay overnight in the coziness of the houseboat.
Day 5: Cochin Transfer & Departure
Post breakfast on board, you will be transferred to Cochin. Later proceed for a guided half-day sightseeing tour of Cochin which includes a visit to St. Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue, and Dutch Palace. Take a Harbour cruise to see the Chinese Fishing Nets. Post sightseeing these places you will be escorted to Cochin airport for boarding hometown.
