Tour Itinerary in Detail:
Day 1: Arrival in Jaisalmer
On arriving in Jaisalmer, you can expect a tour representative of Rajasthan cab will be waiting for you at Jaisalmer Railway Station. He will greet you in the desert city and provide an assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel in Jaisalmer. The evening is planned for exploring the popular Vyas Chhatri from where you can click amazing pictures of the sunset over the cenotaphs. Stay overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 2: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a guided sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. Enjoy visiting the Jaisalmer Fort which is one of the largest forts in the world. A popular World Heritage Site was declared by UNESCO under the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan. Pay a visit to the beautiful heritage Havelis of Jaisalmer that features Rajputana and Islamic style of architecture. Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmalji ki Haveli, and Salim Singh ki Haveli are some of the best royal mansions in Jaisalmer.
In the evening, you may visit the local traditional artifacts of Jaisalmer wherein you can shop for the rustic charm of the Golden city. There are many bustling markets in Jaisalmer enabling the shopaholics to relish the essence of the ancient Rajasthani cultures. Stay overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 3: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
Wake up the next morning and have breakfast. Get ready to explore the Lodurva Village famous for magnificent Jain Temples, Bada Bagh which is a beautiful garden built by Maharaja Lunakaran.
In the evening, you will be driven to Sam Sand Dunes lying in the midst of the Thar Desert where you can enjoy Camel Safari or Jeep Safari on the sand dunes. Enjoy a cultural evening program where folk dance and music performances by local artists will entertain you. Amidst the bonfire, enjoy a gala buffet dinner and then stay overnight in the desert camp.
Day 4: Departure
Wake up with a beautiful sunrise view and then check out from the camp. Proceed for a drive back to Jaisalmer Railway Station to board a train back home. The tour ends here.
