Day 1: Bangalore arrival & Ooty transfer
Upon your arrival at Bangalore airport/railway station, you will meet our tour representative to get escorted to Ooty. From nature walks in verdant lawns to relaxing over a cup of tea from tea plantations, Ooty can be expected to resuscitate the soul through the trials of everyday existence. The “Queen of the Hills”, forms a part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, reputed for its fragile and exquisite ecosystem. After reaching Ooty, complete the check-in formalities and unwind.
In the evening, take time to explore some major tourist sites like Botanical Gardens, bustling markets, striking lakes, and the most prominent tea factories. Catch the panoramic view of the gleaming Nilgiri Mountain Range, clear skies and an array of tourist locations make it a popular retreat among tourists. After a sightseeing excursion, take a drive back to the hotel for a relaxing night’s stay.
Day 2: Coonoor excursion
The morning after breakfast, get ready for a full-day excursion to Coonoor which is about 25 kilometers away from Ooty. Coonoor is itself a beautiful place that is an unexplored tourist destination by most travelers. Being the second largest hill station of Nilgiris, Coonoor is blessed with both natural and man-made beauties.
In the Coonoor Sightseeing Tour, embark on a visit to Sim’s Park, Droog Fort, Heritage Train, St. George’s Church, Law’s Falls, Rallia Dam, Dolphin’s Nose, Lady Canning’s Seat, Highfield Tea Factory, Ketti Valley and many more. Post this, you will be driven back to the hotel followed by a night stay for a comfortable night stay.
Day 3: Coimbatore Transfer
Post morning breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for a road trip to Coimbatore which is about 68 kilometers away. On reaching there, complete the check-in formalities and relax for a while. The remaining day is planned for a half-day sightseeing of Coimbatore.
In the evening, embark on a visit to the famous Marudhamalai Temple, Patteeswarar Temple, Adiyogi Shiva Statue, etc. After a sightseeing trip, you will be transferred to the hotel for a night’s stay.
Day 4: Madurai Transfer
Today after a healthy breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Madurai. On reaching there, check in to the selected hotel. After freshening up, visit the ancient Madurai which takes about 2600 years old and is set on the banks of river Vaigai as a lotus flower with the Meenakshi temple in the center. Embark on a visit including Meenakshi temple, King Tirumala’s palace, Great tank, and Gandhi Museum. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Rameswaram Transfer
After a healthy breakfast, leave for an excursion to Rameswaram – the most sacred temple town in the country. It is an island hallowed by the epic Ramayana, which Lord Rama is said to have visited before going for the Srilanka battle. The presiding deity here is the Linga of Sri Ramanatha Swamy which happens to be one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of the country.
Rameswaram is also popularly known as the “Benaras of the South”, to attain Moksha, and is believed that the visit here is mandatory. Later, you will be driven back to the hotel in Madurai for a comfortable night stay.
Day 6: Thanjavur Transfer
In the morning, after breakfast, get ready and check out from the hotel to leave for Tanjore or Thanjavur. A beautiful place in South India is well-known for its historical importance and cultural significance. The main reasons behind its growing popularity are its Tanjore paintings, textiles, saris, Carnatic music, and handicrafts. As you reach there, complete the check in formalities and relax for some time. Stay overnight in Thanjavur.
Day 7: Pondicherry Transfer
Post breakfast in the morning, and proceed for a drive to Pondicherry. On arrival check in at the hotel and relax. In the afternoon, enjoy sightseeing in Pondicherry. The French influence is gradually fading, and Pondicherry retains a few Gallic accents. Catch the main sights of this place like Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Post sightseeing, get transferred to the hotel for a comfortable night stay.
Day 8: Departure from Bangalore
